This year's National Careers Week 2021 is taking place 1st - 6th March

National Careers Week 2021 in Greater Manchester

As part of National Careers Week 2021 in Greater Manchester, we're running a series of events to promote the fantastic free resources aand careers guidance available, whilst linking with local employers and training providers. We aim to help local jobseekers at all stages of their career journey - from school leaver to adult - to get an insight into the future of work, local employment opportunities and routes into education or training, to help them make better decisions about their future career prospects.

Across 5 days, we'll be hosting sector-themed Careers Advice days for:

  • Health & Social Care
  • Customer Service & Retail
  • Marketing, Media & Creative
  • IT & Digital
  • Warehousing & Logistics

The events will take place 9am-11am each day and include:

  • Live Jobs Feed to promote open vacancies across GM in each sector
  • Careers Advice Feed to share information, advice, factsheets, available training courses and careers videos on how to progress your career in each sector
  • Virtual Careers Fair Webinar with featured employers and providers promoting live job vacancies and available training courses, as well as labour market information, experiences of workplaces and careers guidance
