CSS Business Support Assistant – Scale 4 Vacancies Fulltime
We have a number of full-time permanent and fixed term positions available supporting professional colleagues who are part of Children’s Social Care, Stockport Family and Children and Adults Safeguarding.
You will have strong organisational skills, be able to work on your own and as part of a team, using your initiative to ensure key work in completed to meet statutory timeframes. You will be expected to organising meetings and panels, take minutes at meetings, updating case management systems with referrals and information and co-ordinate key programmes of work.
Ideally you will be a confident and experienced minute taker who can take accurate high quality and professional minutes.
Due to the nature of these roles, you will need emotional resilience as you will, at times, hear distressing and upsetting information. Full support and training will be given to you as part of your induction and ongoing.
Full training and support will be provided.
You should be computer literate and be proficient in working with standard office IT applications including MS Office. You will be expected to learn how to navigate in-house ICT systems to work with data and information. You will work as part of the business support hub working with front Teams and will therefore have the ability to build effective working relationships.

Please note – part time positions can be accommodated, working 2.5 days in a job share arrangement.
**Please note there are 2 job descriptions- one if for a Statutory Minute Taker, the other for a generic Business Support Officer. If you are invited to interview, further information on the roles available will be given. Every role will have an element of minute taking, however the role link to Safeguarding will be aligned to the minute taking Job Description.
