Radiology Clerical Officer, Band 2

We are looking for a Clerical Officer to form part of a team staffing our CT Scanning reception areas between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm.

The successful candidate will be able to work a shift pattern of 08:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 hours on a rotational basis, Monday to Friday and will be flexible in their working day. They will be well organised, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and sensitive to the needs of patients and their carers. They must be confident working on their own as well as part of a team and should be enthusiastic and acceptable of change. The ability to work accurately whilst maintaining a calm and professional attitude is essential.

The postholder will mainly be based in our CT units but may be called upon to carry out administrative duties in other areas of the Radiology Department.

Computer literacy and experience in the accurate inputting of data is an essential requirement for this post. Training on in-house information systems however, will be provided.

Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but not essential.

If successful, this vacancy will require an standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
