Job overview

**There is a 37.5 hour and a 28 hour post available**

The successful candidate may be expected to work from any Community Healthcare base where cover is required due to annual and other types of leave. You must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

Providing reception and administration support for all Community Services

Experience of a busy office environment and handling a high volume of telephone calls is essential. You must also be computer literate.

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary

In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.

Proving a high level of administration support to Community Services

Reception duties, dealing with patient queries either face to face or over the telephone.

General office duties

Working  hours are between  08.00 to 20.00 , 7 days per week

Qualifications

Essential criteria

English & Maths Grade A- C, Level 2 or equivalent qualifications or experience

Desirable criteria

NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration or Customer Service

Experience

Essential criteria

Experience working on a busy reception
Experience of handling large volume of telephone calls/ working in call centre environment
Customer Service
Experience of working in an office environment

Skills

Essential criteria

Excellent I.T skills
Excellent communication skills
Remain calm under pressure/cope with time sensitive workload
