To provide support for disabled people who are in crisis, or present in significant distress.
This includes people of all ages, genders and backgrounds.
We have recognised that the cause of a crisis is different for everyone. Some people have been unable to leave their house because of panic attacks. Whilst others are homeless, experiencing abuse, experiencing a psychotic illness, in the midst of a relationship breakdown, they're starving, or in a financial crisis.
The broad range of support we offer tries to prevent further escalation or helps stop future crises.
We work as part of the preventative services in Stockport.
We support many people to make changes to their lives that will lead to a sustainable recovery.
If you are interested in joining our team, please request a Job Application Pack which includes the full details of the role, the duties and responsibilities, along with the person specification.
