About the role

We have an exciting temporary opportunity for a Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Oldham on a 9 months fixed term contract basis. The Customer Support Service helps our customers by:

Working with them to improve their finances and ability to pay for their home
Managing our Hardship Fund to support customers who are in crisis
Liaising with external support providers to ensure they have the right support package in place

This is a very busy, fast paced role. This post supports our 20 Customer Support Officers by:

  • Managing our referral process from across the Partnership using a CRM system
  • Applying for external grants
  • Managing our hardship fund, ordering emergency food shops, ordering white goods etc
  • Carrying out satisfaction surveys
  • Working with customers over the phone
  • General admin tasks
  • Dealing with invoices and payments

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Warm and friendly
  • None-judgemental and empathetic
  • Has excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Can work in an intense, busy service
  • Can build positive working relationships within our team and across the business
  • Has good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Can work through problems and resolve them
