Group Reporting Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Preparation of accurate and high-quality month end reports to deadline, including both routine and ad hoc reporting, and ensure that these anticipate the emerging needs of a rapidly changing global business;

Support various business heads and cost center managers in the preparation of their budgets & forecast in line with the group forecasting schedule;

Preparation of financial models for new business opportunities. Including analysis on ROI, Payback period. Producing both a cashflow forecast and balance sheet impact assessment;

Maintain a continuous improvement approach to reporting, with the building and maintenance of reports out of the accounting system.;

Work with the Operational Finance team to ensure transactions are being posted in both the correct periods and against the budgeted cost centers;

Build strong working relationships with operational finance teams across the Group and IT to ensure that issues are anticipated and resolved constructively on a timely basis;

Ad hoc work as required by the Head of FP&A from time to time.

Specialist Requirements

1+ years post qualified accountant with industry experience (CIMA or ACCA)
Experience in working within an FP&A function within a corporate group, including involvement in the budget, forecast and month end cycles
A detailed understanding of how key financial performance drivers can be used to improve an operations performance

Additional preferred Skills

Experience in insurance industry
Proven experience in supporting a high growth business through periods of rapid change
All legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to industry
Advanced Excel skills
SAP B1/Crystal experience
