Here at Totally Local Company two exciting opportunities have arisen to join our HR team.  Ideally we are looking for candidates who are looking for that next step in their career path to join the team as HR Advisors. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To provide comprehensive advice and guidance to managers and employees in relation to employment legislation, terms and conditions of employment and HR policies and procedures.
To assist the HR team in the delivery of an efficient and effective HR service, ensuring that HR issues are handled in accordance with Totally Local Company policies and procedures, employment legislation and best professional practice.
To support with the payroll administration.
To assist in the co-ordination, management and monitoring of sickness absence and to provide advice and support to Managers, including attending absence review meetings and liaising with the Occupational Health, counselling service and physiotherapy providers as necessary. To be involved in the more complex cases. To ensure consistency of application and fairness.
To ensure that accurate HR records are maintained and appropriate systems are developed in order to provide a range of regular management reports in respect of  HR topics, i.e. sickness absence, turnover, accident statistics, equality data, including the collection, analysis and presentation of this information.
To support with lower level ER cases, supporting in investigation meetings.

General

The post holder will be expected to work flexible hours that meet the needs of the Company. 

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Previous HR experience
Experience of payroll administrations 
Excellent IT skills; ability to use Microsoft Office packages including Work, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to demonstrate good team working skills 
High level of attention to detail and high level of accuracy 
A friendly professional manner and appearance 
Must have good communication skills 
Fully qualified or working towards CIPD/other relevant and equivalent qualification
