We have 3 vacancies for Independent Living Officer
2 x permanent 18.5 hour roles
1 x temporary 30 hour role up to March 2022.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Independent Living Officer to join us, providing a service to customers whose needs range from low to those with complexities facing multiple exclusion requiring intensive, personalised, trauma informed support.
Assessing risk, working effectively with in-house teams and external statutory and voluntary agencies, such as Social Care and Probation services for the benefit of customers is key to success in this role, working within our supported housing settings and also the housing management service.
Whilst you will have a designated lead role such as working within our older persons services or supporting customers by telephone or in person either in the community / Head Office, a flexible, responsive service for customers where and as required is paramount.
With extensive experience of working with vulnerable customers in a supportive capacity with the ability to assist in them achieving sustainable tenancies, you will establish and maintain effective relationships to achieve successful outcomes for customers. Candidates will have strong IT skills to include experience of utilising Microsoft packages and will have the self-motivation and ability to inspire confidence, build rapport, with persistence, determination and resilience.
