We are a large national charity with our Head office based in Stockport, looking for an experienced Management Accountant to work in our fast paced and friendly Accounts Team. You will be working closely with other team members and across the wider Head Office departments to produce detailed reconciliations of Balance Sheet control accounts, with responsibility for resolution of all reconciliation items. You will be particularly involved in the areas of payroll reconciliations and fixed asset reviews.
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with relevant previous experience to develop their skills within a complex accounting environment, while contributing to the valuable work of our Not for Profit organisation.
You will need to be well organised, hard-working and flexible as this is a fast paced and challenging role, reporting across multiple sites and income streams. You will be able to work independently, manage your own workload and respond flexibly to the needs of the team and the wider organisation. You will be exceptionally proficient in MS Excel, with excellent written/verbal communication skills.
We are able to offer the role on either a full-time or part-time basis, to be agreed with the successful candidate.
