This role provides a great opportunity to start your career in law whilst in parallel obtaining a recognised qualification (paralegal). You will be exposed to top-quality legal matters, developing both your legal knowledge and commercial awareness.

Description

Job duties include:

• Reviewing documents and incoming post
• Managing, inputting and collating information and data
• Draft documents/correspondence for review e.g. letters, case files, emails, forms
• Assist with the inception, progress and completion of client files
• Provide support to the Legal team, e.g. arranging meetings, general administrative support, organising travel and accommodation requirements
• Handling confidential and sensitive information
• Communicating internally within Legal team and externally with third party solicitors
• Assisting the Legal team with legal matters generally
• Provide general administrative support, e.g. filing, printing, scanning, copying

You need to be at least 16, and be studying for (or have finished) your A-Levels or an equivalent. You don't need any minimum grades, but you do need to share our passion for common sense.

Person Requirements

• 5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English)
• Ideally a business or legal related qualification (GCSE or A level)
• Excellent attention to detail
• An ability to take a logical approach to problem solving
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Desire to learn, develop and grow a career in law / and or finance
• Positive and approachable attitude

Future career prospects include progression to a Paralegal or other suitable roles. Training Provided includes:

Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship Standard
Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
