Production Planner / Office Manager


Kinetic Industrial are looking to recruit a Production Planner / Office Manager for our client based in Sharston who are a leading global manufacturer in their field, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company.

As the Production Planner / Office Manager you will be required to:

  • Be responsible for ensuring the adequate supply of raw materials and arranging the production plan to meet both customer demands and stock requirements.
  • Manage the day-to-day management responsibility for the office administration and purchase ledger functions and provide back up to other functions as required
  • Determine the production plan, ensuring any adjustments are done as required, liaising with team members and production supervisors, to meet customer orders and stock requirements
  • Analyse the daily requirement raw material requirement
  • Determining purchase order requirements, liaise with office admin to arrange PO's
  • Managing all office functions and office personnel
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing tanker schedule
  • Document and monitor supplier performance data
  • Support the introduction of a new MRP
  • Process sales orders
  • Arranging UK and Export despatch and paperwork
  • Contacting customers to arrange / rearrange delivery dates
  • Raising and chasing PO deliveries
  • Responsibility for answering calls and routing calls on switchboard
  • Ordering none stock purchases
  • Supporting finance; bank reconciliation, reporting cash figures to group, posting of receipts to ledgers and nominal ledger items, input all payments into cash book, chase overdue sales ledger accounts
  • Apply for credit limits and complete credit checks
  • Greeting guests / incoming vehicles in reception area
  • Monitor Supplier delivery on time performance
  • Covering various office functions as needed


In order to be successful, you will need:

  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Outlook Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills , able to liaise with internal and external staff, customers and suppliers
  • Be able to be be proactive and make decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail, having a Conscientious approach to work
  • Hold experience with MRP systems
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be quality focussed and conscientious


This position offers the following:

  • Company is open 7am - 5pm, hours negotiable around these times, 37.5 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate, negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications
