Job overview

An exciting opportunity is available for the right individual to join a supportive Emergency Department to primarily assist the Assistant Business Support Manager in co-ordinating rotas to ensure medical, nursing & administration cover meets the needs of the Emergency and to also provide comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative support to the Operational Teams within the Emergency Department and Integrated Care Business Group

The post is 37.5hrs Monday to Friday on a permanent contract

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills and have the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To primarily assist the Assistant Business Support Manager in co-ordinating medical rotas to ensure medical cover meets the needs of the Emergency and Acute Medicine Departments. To provide administrative support to the Operational Teams within the Emergency Department and Integrated Care

Good standard of education, IT/Computer qualification/NVQ in administration qualification

Knowledge

Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure, experience of hospital systems. meet deadlines, organised excellent attention to detail

Rota Scheduling, Previous NHS experience
