Temporary vacancies to support mass community COVID-19 testing
A mass testing programme is being rolled out across all ten boroughs in Greater Manchester and in Stockport we are recruiting to temporary roles in our Covid-19 Response Teams. Testing sites will be set up across our communities to identify asymptomatic individuals to help stop the spread of Covid-19, save lives and enable our residents to return to normal life.
Salary: £20,092 - £21,748, pro rata
Working Hours: Up to 37 hours a week, part time applications welcomed
Contract Type: Fixed Term for up to 3 months initially
We have various roles available including:
• Site operative - Helping manage the site and supporting subjects through the testing process. From queue management, to registration and supporting testing. Due to the working environment of this role, you will need to be comfortable with working outdoors.
• Testing operative - Conducting the processing and analysis of tests to ensure the process is conducted accurately and uploaded to the system.
Do you have strong customer service skills and administration skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work individually and as part of a team? If so, we would love to hear from you.
These roles are for a period of up to 3 months, although there may be potential to extend. Full training will be provided.
Interviews will be held via telephone or video call, with recruiters looking to match your skills to the roles available.
The roles will be based at any location across Stockport including schools.
There may be a requirement to work some weekends and evenings.
