Generation run free training programmes for people not in education, employment or training.

We prepare, support and place people into life-changing careers by connecting them with hiring employers.

Generation partners with employers to develop role-specific training programs and recruit for them through bootcamps and apprenticeships.

About Generation UK

This is how our model works:

  1. We identify sectors where there’s a skills gap.
  2. We create bespoke programmes to train people in technical skills as well as the behaviours and mindsets to be successful in these roles.
  3. We work with employers to reserve vacancies for our programme graduates and connect them to job interviews.

To date, 80%, our learners have secure roles within 3 months of completing a Generation programme. Our graduates in Greater Manchester have gone on to work for Barclays, Ernest & Young, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Capital One, Fibre Nation, Infinity Works, KPMG, Fed Ex, Matillion and many more employers.

Our offer to learners

  • Programmes are always free
  • 1:1 mentoring during and for 6 months post-programme
  • Training in technical and employability skills
  • We provide laptops and internet to those in need
  • Learners continue to receive work related benefits
